New Clutch
I am looking for a new clutch for my 57 Chevy 3100 6 cylinder. No luck finding one yet. Any suggestions? Been told this is one of the better replacement options. Open to other suggestions as well.

Re: New Clutch
Rock Auto has the clutch set for your truck, $70. Have the flywheel resurfaced, and you should be good to go.

Re: New Clutch
Be careful when you buy a clutch. First pull out the clutch that's in it, and check the flywheel. My 57 had a stepped flywheel. The flywheel has a raised surface where the disc rides. it's about .030"
There is a specific clutch that you need if you have that. If yours is stepped, give me a call, I have more info on it 602-510-2519

Re: New Clutch
Coupeguy2001 nailed in that you need to pull your clutch out and see what you have in there now. Someone could have put in a different setup with bigger disk and pressure plate or ?
O'Rielly's has the whole kit with pressure plate, disk pilot bushing and throw out bearing for 121.99 here locally to me http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1351&ppt=C0015 Shouldn't be much different where you are at. That's for a ten inch diaphragm clutch. It might compare with shipping costs when you check around. 109.78 if you have Amazon prime for the same Sachs clutch. https://www.amazon.com/Sachs-K1874-06-Clutch-Kit/dp/
