1961 Apache
Brought home a 1961 Apache today, picked it up from a friend of mine. Custom Cab and I like it, the cab itself is really tight. Inline six and 4 speed.

Re: 1961 Apache
Congrats on the new truck. It does look to be in nice shape. As already said, that side trim is worth a bit if it is all there and in workable condition.

Re: 1961 Apache
YES IT has tempered glass and has NO frame like the drivers side has which should have "safety glass" which is laminated glass and NOT tempered......Safety glass is laminated and tempered glass is tempered it is one of those things to argue over like motor vs engine
FROM EHOW "Tempered glass and laminated glass are types of safety glass. Laminated glass is also referred to as safety glass. They are both used in areas where broken glass could be dangerous." Last edited by jtrichard; 09-13-2016 at 01:53 AM. |

Re: 1961 Apache
Finally got the passenger window wiggled down, glass everywhere...
It has the same frame as the drivers side, you can also see the two tone door panel for 1961. The cab floors look really good on truck so far. |

Re: 1961 Apache
Since this is original I can now see that the roof was painted in those days above the drip rail, was never sure.
