np205 shifter

Anyone know where i can get a shifter for a np205? I just picked one up and it has a shmegged together twinstick con version (shmegged=one stick is an old lug wrench). I would love to get a new twin stick but would be happy with a single stocker.

If your shift rails have been modified a single stick wont work. I got the twin stick from JKW(link above). I had to adapt the front axle shifter to work. It was easy. But as he said his were designed for a manual trans adapter. And mine is a T350/205 setup.

Is the twin stick conversion worth the time/effort involved? Does it work better or is it mainly for "hardcore" offroading?

Twin sticking is primarily for the rock crawler crowd. You can control the front and rear independently. Hi, Low, and Neutral at any time in either axle.
