New in West KY
Been a long time lurker, but finally decided to register a few minutes ago. Over the last ten years that I've been driving I've owned 4 Chevrolet trucks. I started at 16 in a 84 LWB Silverado that I sold prior to graduation, bought a 94 s10 short bed a few years later and traded it, about 3 years ago I bought an 02 2500hd with the 8.1 currently needing a transfer case, and last November I was cruising the ol Facebook and stumbled on the latest addition, a 69 short bed. Bought it based on the pictures for 500$ and got to pick it up about a month later. So far all I've done is change a tire and roll it off the trailer, but like most people, there's big plans in store. Ill put pictures up here in a bit.

Re: New in West KY
There's a long way to go, and in theory this is a Grandpa-Father-Son project, but we'll see how that goes. We're gonna try to do a frame off restomod on it. We'd like to set the suspension up like Project Copperhead, and I've been kicking around a ton of drivetrain options. Everything from a LS swap, to a mini blower on a crate 350, to a mild 350 build with an EFI set up, 2004R and 3.73 rear end for drive ability. The possibilities are endless.
