tranny swap

Has anyone swapped out the th350 for the 200-4r
I would love an overdrive in my 72..thanks

Yep, I've done that swap. Crossmember moves back but if I recall it saves the driveshaft, as they're the same overall length, and use the same yoke. So it's as close to a bolt-in as you're going to get for an overdrive trans swap.

Make sure you're diligent about the TV cable. It's not just a kickdown, it controls clutch pressures and everything. One trip around the block with it misadjusted can wipe your trans.
