Frame stamp help
Working on my buddy's truck, and came across the frame stamp under the passenger door. Wondering if someone can help me decode it. I think the last few digits are obvious:
3829596 10 2 62 Are the first group of digits a partial VIN? |

look like a part nbr... otherwise they would match the nbrs on the serial plate

Ron is correct 3829596 is the frames part number the other numbers are the date . These are stamped on the side of the frame . The VIN is on top of the frame.

chev or gmc. if it is a chev it will all be on the drivers side on top by where the steering box is or by the rear cab mount

Ok, here's what's on the frame:
0107330 Looking at the decoder... I'm not sure how to break it down. It's likely a Canadian truck if that helps... |
