Rear axle conversion.

Hello all. I have a 68 c 10 with 12 bolt rear 8.875 30 spline. Want to put in the 5 lug axles. I have 6 lug now. Anyone know which ones to get and where to get em? I have front disc done and they are 5 lug also. Thanks again.

Re: Rear axle conversion.

I went with Moser Engineering axles because I put disc brakes out back so I didn't need the drums that come with the kit from Speedway Motors.

Re: Rear axle conversion.

Can I swap 5 lug axles out of a 1978 12 bolt into a 1970 12 bolt?

Re: Rear axle conversion.

There is a Q & A section on speedwaymotors website that may answer that. I found it helpful.
