What does it fit?

Here is a Harmonic Balancer that I have no idea what it fits other than I know it would be for a small block Chevy I think. It is just over 6" (6.125") and the three mounting holes are 3/8 X NF24 TPI. Can anybody help me, if so it would be appreciated. Thanks

I cant say for any certainty, but my guess is it is old aftermarket.

I believe its an early SFI damper. The six studs running through from the back would capture the outer ring so it couldnt separate like a stock balancer. It doesnt appear that you could run a stock pulley, due to the welds for the studs protruding on the face. There is a very minimal amount of damper material, which would suffice on a well balanced rotating assembly.

Just some thoughts

Here it is with a couple of "stock" pulleys with a dead nuts fit, pulleys #'s are single pulley 3755820 BC & double pulley #'s are 3876328 BT. If you ask me it looks like a exact match. The two pulleys were bought for a short water pump for my new Alternator & Power Steering Pump system on the drivers side

I'd say it's an early chevy,( 1955/1962) because the timing mark appears to line up with the key way, but it could be for six cyl, or small eights. other than that, I don't know..

You are correct on the key way, it does line up with the timing notch.
