Can anyone recommend one of these?
Didn't really see a tools forum, so I figured I'd just ask here. If there is a better place for it, perhaps a mod will come along and move the thread there.
Anyway, can anyone here recommend a good one diagnostic code scanner? I've been looking at the top model from Launch, and Autel has a pretty similar offering. Its for newer stuff and not these old trucks, but I buy and sell cars for a living and it would be real darn nice to be able to do some real diagnostics with something like this. It would save me a lot of time and trouble. So anyway, does anyone have any experience with these types of things? Or perhaps have a recommendation for one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-Version...540496&vxp=mtr |

I use a 8 dollar Bluetooth to obdii adapter and app on my smart phone. does that one do anything other than real time monitoring and code clearing. if so get torque app and the Bluetooth device and do the same thing for 10 bucks or so.

I have Several OTC Models and two Autels. The Autels are android and they are fast dependable and do more for less money. The Minisys would be a good starter if you are not
programming. |
