Re: power to manual brake conversion
No need for a kit of any sort. Simply remove your booster and master cylinder and bolt up a manual master cylinder for a square body. I don't know if manual brakes were an option in '82, so you may have to go back into the mid '70's to find one at your local auto parts store. You may have to fabricate a pushrod for the manual master cylinder unless you can find an OEM one. Maybe check the '73-'87 classifieds here on the forum.

Re: power to manual brake conversion
Drive up here to Michigan and swap pedals and master with mine. LOL.
Manual brakes tend to have different pedal ratios. Best if you can find a complete truck to pilfer parts from. Most will be from manual trans vehicles, manual brakes tend to be on 'strippos'. You can buy kits and that may be the way to go if you are going disc on the rear. I 'think' there was a 4 wheel manual disc brake option on early Vettes and possibly later Camaros.

Re: power to manual brake conversion
I've been using the Corvette manual master cylinder for years. I dont even run a portional valve. Works great disc on the front drums on the rear.

Re: power to manual brake conversion
I'm running a Wilwood master/prop valve combo on my '72 with a '67-'72 manual pushrod. Also using a residual valve since I'm running rear drum brakes. Works great.
