fact. air --what heater is correct for air ??

im thinking i have seen both heaters w/factory air ?? what is correct or should i say what works better ? thrift or deluxe ? ??? than ks for any input !

Factory A/C came with the deluxe heater. You could have got dealer installed A/C with the thrift or deluxe heater.

The heater for factory air trucks is different then the regular heater, has an extra air opening into cab.

Correct. The A/C heater has an extra opening with a blend door. On dealer installed A/C they cut the hole in the heater and added the blend door.

i like the deluxe heater controls because if you go with Vintage Air your original Deluxe controls can be used with the new A/C that way it looks "factory"

Also with recirculating heater , you get a different set of dash bezels and cables for the controls

jon them NOS knobs and stuff -are sure pretty !!!!! im just put a new to the vehicle "dash" in my 64 carryall,now need to get a serpentine belt and accessory drive set-up on it ! probably put a 9 " ford in burb and overdrive trans & paint the thing anyway thanks for posting them pics ! i guess the deluxe heater is the way to go !!!!
