West Coast Jr Mounting Location
Can people please post some side view shots of their trucks showing where the west coast jr mirrors are mounted? It looks like on my '65 I will need to mount them basically exactly in line with the piece of trim between the main door window and the small triangle vent window. I'd like to confirm if that placement is correct.
My mirrors are the GMC factory accessory Swing Lock west coast jr mirrors. Thanks!

Re: West Coast Jr Mounting Location
That's a pretty good thread though not any direct on side shots. Looks like the brackets are approximately centered on the support between main door window and vent window. I'll run with that unless anyone has anything to add

That glass run channel is close. On my 66 Custom Camper, the factory installed brackets are maybe 1/4" off (to the rear) of being exactly centered on it.

Re: West Coast Jr Mounting Location
It looks like you guys both have gaskets between your mirror brackets and the door. Should I get some rubber material and do the same?

Re: West Coast Jr Mounting Location
Can't hurt, preserve the paint and help absorb the vibration a little.
