Title says it. Its the bolt that pivots the shifter on the tranny case. Looks like THIS.

Jimmie, just out of curiosity - did you need this to fix the 205 shifter rattle or was yours missing or something else? Mine rattles like a banshee and I haven't had a chance to crawl under and check it out. Figured something like this might be the culprit...

Hey Jocko, I tried everything else and nothing worked. I figure this has to be it...lol. Its going to be a pain to get out cause the exhaust is right there but I will post up with results as soon as I do.

pm sent gable74, most of that rattle is the missing wave washer. mine are to small for this application. mine fit the rockwell 221. i have a box of new ones. i will send pm's to CUSTOM/10 and jocko if more turn up

What size wave washer is required?

3/4 like the washer, this is a 3 wave washer. i gotta find where i bought these and let you all know here. this place had nylon bushings also for some shifters

Okay cool. I bought a few of them so I should be good.

Definitely 3/4" right? The bolt head on mine was 5/8".

I believe that bolt was standard on the later 205s. I've seen the later 205s with the grease zerks on them. It should work with a 69-72 as well.

Just an FYI the 5/8 head bolt is a 7/16 thread so your shifter will have 2 plastic bushings and a metal insert they will need to be removed to use this bolt.
