Washington State 67-72 truck Club

Hey Guys,

I am interested in assembling a valid WA 67-72 Truck club. I posted the interest in the
"board meets" section on this thread. Please let me know if you are interested and name suggestions.

Thanks.

Sounds good.
Maybe you would get more response from board members if you had some ideas of what the "goal", or "mission statement" would be?
Is there already a truck club in the state?
Just curious.

WES

Wes at Classic Heartbeat tried to get one started. Has bylaws, club decals, etc. Look at his webpage and maybe we could tag on or use his as a starting point if you're uncomfortable with a business run club.

Thanks for the name suggestions...

Crazy4Chevy's:

"My thought" would be that the club would serve all 67-72 based trucks including burbs.

In regards to your other questions, we aren't there yet. The club would be run by the people for the people....so when the time comes we can decide what type of activities.

It sounds as though there is anough interest..."we" need to decide on a name.

The club that I started is run by the founding members. I only lend my company name to it, provide message boards, and web space untill the club can support itself. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Okay fellow Washington enthusiasts:

Being a member in another auto club has it's advantages...every few months we get together for whats called a mod day....where everyone comes to get things done on their cars they may have been putting off, or neeeding help from fellow members, or tools such as a lift.

This is an example of the many benefits having a local club. The good news is, I have secured a shop (business) who is willling to host a mod day for our "Truck club".

Bad news is we don't really have one yet. This is really up to you all as to the name or joining Wes's already formed Club. As soon as we can get an agreement either way, then we can start thinking about scheduling some meetings and a "mod day" of our own.

Let me know your thoughts...

Well guys, I have only seen responses from a few people interested in doing this. So I think I am going to put this on the back burner unless I hear from more people.

I'm interested in the club, but I don't really have a lot of input so I haven't piped up on this yet.

Mike,
How about putting the poll on the meeting forum? That way it will not disappear so quickly?
I will check for the poll on Friday and then send out the PM's I will include PM's to those that didn't have a chance to show up also. I now have well over 50 names in Washington now.
