Engine bay got an antifreeze bath

just coming home from the lumber yard and i smelt anti freeze, pull over and im leaking like a seive. man was i pissed, brand new 4 core and i thought it was shot, get home temp gauge is almost pinned, pop the hood and there is a 3 inch long gash in the hose from my condenser to the intake, the antifreeze was just honking out of it into the fan and the fan was spraying it everywhere...what a last couple weeks its been, at least this is a cheap fix unlike the others but man oh man..my mom thinks im crazy owning an old truck..

Unhappy

Don't be surprised if your v-belts start making a crackling noise in the near future. It seems when anti-freeze gets on the belts it sometimes creates a glaze and they make a alot of noise that won't go away without changing the belts.

May those who love us, love us, any of those who do not love us, may God turn their hearts.
And if God is unable to turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping.

A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist.

Leaking antifreeze does suck....i remember walking out to my truck one day and seeing a huge coolant slick underneath it.....i was stupid and attempted the 4 mile trek home...and it made it w/o overheating

My mom thinks i'm crazy for owning an old truck too, but she understands how much i love it. She always rolls her eyes when i talk about putting in 3.73 gears and a bigger cam
