Vintage Air install running hot now
Hi lady's & gent's
I just recently installed a vintage air ac system in my LQ9 swapped C10 well everything but the AC hose's & having it charged (The compressor is installed but system is not up & running yet) & now the truck is running hot up until I get on the highway & drive highway speed's it goes normall by normal i mean 220 that's the temp she has always ran. Can someone tell me why & what can I do to fix this? This is my daily driver. Are you running electric fans are the motor driven fan? Do you have a fan shroud installed?
If your running electrics are you sure they are working?

Good morning Andy & yeah turns out I had air in the system I got it out already finally & drove her the last 2 days to work with no problem.
Sorry I never went back to update my situation but it was mainly because no one ever replyed till just now with you. But yes aluminum radiator with 2 electric fan setup that were working fine the whole time. |

Cooling system bro you see I did a 68 front clip swap on my 69 C10 along with the AC install so I drained the coolant to remove my radiator.
Had to go from a 69 radiator core support to a 68 the only thing on the front clip that will work with one another are the fenders & some small parts like the headlight buckets & hood hinges & so on. |
