New to me 1971 suburban

I've been looking for a suburban for a while and finally picked this one up last week. It's was a 307 but has a 350 2 brl on it now, and of course a 3 on the tree. Runs good, stops good, and in all around decent shape. Former owner painted it this past winter, paint looks good but it's not perfect. Has a little rust in the floors and a couple leaks but a nice driver.

Plans are to drive it till this winter then go through the suspension and brakes and replace/upgrade everything. As for immediate I am going to work out all the little things like bolting seats in properly, find second row seat, get window cranks and clean and lube tracks

Is this the truck that was on Craigslist for $6k? Looks real clean. It said it had a repaint, if I hadn't picked one up last weekend I would of been going to look at this one.

Nice find good luck with it.

Yea outside is really clean, needs a little floor work and inner fenders but I don't have to repaint the whole truck to fix that. Gonna get lowered with some 20's this winter.

Good score! Three on the tree is a theft deterrent! And its green to boot.
