help please no power to the fuse box
Hi I have a 86 chevy k10 with the 305 and 4 speed. I am not getting power to the fuse box ? The previous owner swapped the battery cables around and it hasn't turned over since. It has been covered to a carb. Has hei distributor and a brand new starter. Thanks for the help

Re: help please no power to the fuse box
You need to be looking at the fusible links at the starter...either left off when the new starter was installed or burnt when this "swapped battery cables around" stuff was going on. The wire should go from the starter to the junction block above the brake booster & then a wire over to the fusebox. Hope this helps, Lorne
