What the......

As I passed by this in the parking lot I almost got in a wreck when I jerked my head around to see what it was. At first glance I thought it was a blazer with a suburban roof. It wasn't until I made my 4th circle around it (almost causing the 2 ladies standing next to it to call the cops) that I realized it was a shortened suburban. As I parked to take some pictures the owner came out. He said it was shortened in Mexico. Even thought it's in poor shape the cut and splice was perfect.

That thing looks ABOMINABLE. Looks like an oversized Ford Pinto.

Re: What the......

I never saw the use of a suburban as I always liked the open bed of a pickup and had a family hauler separate, but for a guy who wants or needs that kind of thing I think its pretty cool and looks kinda factory.. it could use a resto tho

Lol, no not at all. I'm still not sure what to think about it. I mean it is different but that's not exactly a bad thing. I could picture it cleaned up with a lowered stance and some nice wheels looking pretty sharp.

I always thought the advantage of the Suburban was the rear seat and doors.

Re: What the......

It actually wouldn't look bad if he moved the rear axle back and maybe centered it to give it a more appealing look. The only reason if looks odd is because of the wheelbase in my opinion.
