Any 3" Cowl hoods for 1967 Chevy's?

I'm trying to find a 3" cowl hood and so far can only find 2". Anyone know of a taller cowl hood for '67-'68 trucks? Even a 4" ? Thanks for any help.

Okay, I guess there aren't any 3" hoods available. How about 4"? Anybody?

I believe that there is only one cowl hood manufactured but, it is available under different brands. There have been lots of posts about the poor quality of the hood. Some venders refuse to sell them any more. The one that came on my 67 Burb when I bought it fit so poorly I traded it for a stocker as I hated the way it looked. If I go back to one I will modify a stock hood. I believe that will be less work than fixing the one I had. I think it was a 3" cowl, but I never measured it.

I had to pie cut mine down both sides and flatten it out then body work the whole thing....lots of work. As far as what your looking for ....the only one you will find is glass and it's made by us body source

I found the USBody hood but was hoping to find a bolt on 3" steel hood. Looks like a 2" hood will be the only way to go for this project. Anyway, it was worth a try. Thanks everyone.
