`81 Silverado C20 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

It's been a few years since I've been on here. I sold my 3+3 dually back in 2013. I just picked up a 1981 C20 Silverado that looks like it popped out of a time capsule. It's loaded with a 454, a/c, pw, pdl, cruise, deluxe camper special including the elimi-pitch + tie downs, and the original working Delco CB radio. I'll try to get some pics in the daylight tomorrow. In the interim here's the rpo codes.

Old guy bought it '81. Always stored inside, never winter driven, and had a camper in the box for it's entire life. It's got nicks and scratches, the box is incredibly straight, but there's the odd wear mark from the camper. With the 3.21 gears it runs down the highway pretty good.

Holy cow that's cool! Love the very unusual colors. That's thing looks super nice. Is it two tone? I'm guessing it's just the light, but almost looks like it's a slightly different green in the middle. Congrats, that's a great find

It's a solid Emerald green, I believe the paint code is 42. Some years it was called bright green.

The rear bumper is on rails and slides back three feet to accommodate a camper.

OH MY GOD, that is gorgeous!!! My jaw is literally dropping at the beauty of the truck. That interior is awesome too!!

How many miles does it have?

How many miles does it have?

Trucks got 133,000 kilometers, or 80,000 miles. Took it on a 200 mile drive today. Runs great, smooth & right. Carb is a tad rich.
