Kick Panels with Speaker Mounts

I need to buy new kick panels for my 1987 R-10 with AC,,, LMC carries carpeted kick panels and carpeted lower door panels ,,, what I would like and have seen online for several types of cars,,, but have not found for my truck,,, is a molded kick panel that I can mount a speaker into,,, anyone know if these are for sale from anyone,,, I know as soon as I spend my money for the carpeted kick panels,,, I will find the speaker mounted ones I want

It is possible to cut a hole in the kick panel and install a round speaker/grill in that spot. The speaker magnet will be very close to the metal in the rear but it will fit. I prefer that method because it does not protrude out away from the kick panel and looks a little neater.

wont the magnet side of the speaker be outside the cab? where the water runs down from the cowl area

Correct, there would also be a hole in the metal, but it will fit.

73-87 chevytruckparts.com. Much cheaper. Use boommat closed cell foam speaker enclosures behind them.
