I am restoring my grandfathers 1965 C10 and one of the many upgrades is the 1995 350ci 5.7L engine.

Casting # 14093638
Date Code C215

I have been searching for information to interpret the suffix code.

V0327PLA

We know V is for FLINT
We know 03 is for March
and
We know 27 is for Day 27

Does anyone know what the "PLA" stands for?

If www.chevymania.com ever comes back up, then you can find the code there. It's only site I can find that can tell you that info. You can also call a dealer and they can tell you.
