Question 69 k/10 vo327u7

Dont have casting #on back of block. Vo327u7 is stamped on passengers side just below cylinder head on flat spot. Head has a raised l cast on head. Original engine in truck! I have been told it is a 307. What does vo327u7 indicate? Vin# ke149t83070 dd rockwell standard t221n6 trans. Thanks for any information and this site

Check that suffix code again.
No u7.
Then look here to decipher it.

I rechecked stamping on passenger side of engine just below head on flat spot. VO 327 U7 block# 36M 3956632 VIN KE149T83070 DD . What does VO 327 U7 indicate . Do I have a 327 ? Is there a link here I could ID this. THANKS for any help. HAPPY TRAILS

V0327 means your motor originated in Flint on march 27.
Your casting code indicates a 1969 307.
Still can't find your suffix code U7.

Should be UI for that 307. The 'I' might look like a '7'.
