Gas pedal

Has any one modified gas pedal to a more comfortable position. My 67 C20 is ok for short drives, but for longer drives not so much. Would love to see some suggestions Thanks Larry

Re: Gas pedal

I forget the year but later years of the 67-72's used a conventional gas pedal instead of the floor hinged gas pedal 67's used. Use the search function for details but I believe it's basically a bolt in.

Edit: here's a couple links for converting to a 71-72 conventional hinged gas pedal with throttle cable vs the 67-70 floor hinged linkage style pedal. I simply searched for "gas pedal conversion" using the search function on the site.

Shows how to fabricate and modify the 71-72 pedal for 67-70 trucks

The link below uses an adapter for to retrofit the 71-72 pedal into 67-70 if you want a bolt in conversion.
