Drivetrain conversion

Hi, I have a 79 k2500 that I'm going to do a conversion on the drivetrain.
I would like to know if the info I have is correct and I have a couple questions as well.
I have picked up a rebuilt 27 spline 700r4 and a np241c 27 spline passanger side drop transfer case as well. I heard that there is two spline counts for this combo. 27 spline is for a half ton and there is a 32 spline for a 3/4 ton. Is this true?
Is there any reason why a can't run a 27 spline count in my 3/4 ton truck?
Also the transfer case I bought didn't come with driveshafts or yokes.
I was wondering if I will need any special driveshafts or will I need to only have mine shortened? Last of all is a question on yokes.. Can I buy a slip yoke for the back and a yoke for the front that is going to match my 3/4 ton driveshafts and my 1/2 ton transfer case?

Thank you so much for any advise you could share.
