My 72 6 point oh LS swap

Hey fellow builders

Figured I'd post up what I'm doing on my 72 GMC, to get some input/ideas. I see a lot of you guys are way past this point. Lots of beautiful work in this forum. And, I've learned a ton from the great reads. Thank you all.

Anyway

My build:

'72 GMC -
Fresh6.0 LQ4 @ 11:1
Fresh 4L60e with corvette servos and all the cool doo dads
Boyd welding 19gallon fuel cell
Comp Cam - Mutha Thumper
Polished crank
706 heads with Alex springs
All sensors are new
LSX Industries built my harness, and programmed my ECM
Headman mid-length headers
Champion 3row radiator with two 14" fans
Shark guages
Trick Flow steam tube kit
Taylor 10.4 wires
Lokar gas pedal
Lokar 23" floor shifter w/boot
... And ALL of the other stuff that's needed, fuel line/connectors, engine mounts, trans mount, prepping, ETC...

Truck is a full frame off resto and was painted a factory 2000 sunset gold (?) color. Most every nut and bolt has been changed.

The 350 and TH350 are coming out within the next couple of weeks, since now I have (most) everything to start the swap.

More to come...

Welcome to the forum Caraudiotekk. That's a great looking engine and truck! Love all the nice parts too.
Looks like you had a gameplan lined out before you started.
Keep up the good work.

Thank you!

Had a game plan AND a budget, but that's all out the window...

It's funny how fast "The Budget" can go out the window. Lol
Keep up the good work.

Re: My 72 6 point oh LS swap

More stuff has arrived.... Now I gotta get my bed off (and stored) to start this process...

This is my 4l60e w/ corvette servo, upgraded bands, heavy-duty clutch pack and shift kit, 2500+ stall on the converter. And, I just got my new box...
