New guy here

Hi folks, I joined the forum, looking for some help with a project I picked up, personally I'm a redneck, I have always owned lifted rigs of all types. well, I have always been infatuated with stepside chevys, and I came across lowered 77 step side that I bought from a kid, because the frame cracked at the steering box, I bought the repair kit, fixed the frame, and I have been driving it for the last few months, my question is, the kid dropped the truck, he told me it had a 3/5 lowering kit it in it, with the flip kit, in the rear, I have about a 1/2 inch between my rear axle and the frame, its a bouncy ride, but I love the truck, where I'm concerned, is the front springs, when I jack up the front end, the front springs will fall out, they are thin coils, almost looks like the rear springs out of an older chevy half ton, all the lowering items look brand new, I'm just wondering if this is normal for a 3/5 lowering kit? I was literally just in the process, of ordering 2 inch drop springs, and 2 inch drop spindles for the front end, but I figured I should ask someone with some knowledge, ill post a picture, if I can figure out how to post images anyway thank you folks for your time

Re: New guy here

welcome to the forum. looks like you've got something unusual going on there, might want to get a new set of springs too, that is clearly lower than a 3/5 drop.
