Trouble with LS plates
Hello guys ran into a problem here with these LS swap plates by Pol Performance "adjust2fit". The kit plates doesn't seem to fit to the original engine mounts as it's too wide. Has anyone had this problem or used these plates? Not sure if I'll need new mounts which I'm sure I will. I got these plates from "Brothers Trucks". Thank you guys in advance! I apologize for the pictures for the odd angles.

Looks like youre trying to double mount them, putting a mount on a mount. You need some kind of stand for your new mount to bolt to, not another mount.

ls1nova71 thank for pointing that out to me, the guy at brothers told me it was just a simple bolt on with no modification needed. Do you know of any stand? Thanks again.

I would imagine that POL makes stands for them, and then it would be a simple bolt in deal.

Looks like they are intended for their tubular engine mount brackets

With those style mounts on your frame, I would just use Car Shop 1" setback plates. CSP2370 is the part number for the ones I use, buy them on ebay. You just take the clam shells off your engine and bolt them to the adapter plates, then drop in. Haven't had an issue on the several swaps I've done.
