Fly Wheel Replacement

Have anyone had to replace there fly wheel on a SBC 400 cubic inc I am going to replace mind but not sure just what type of fly wheel to purchase for a replacement I see there are so many different ones out there can someone help out with this replacement

Just replaced mine yesterday on a 350. I used a 12" GM that was ordered at my local Chevrolet Dealer, received it overnight... Ed

The 400 small block is an externally balanced engine, so you have to make sure that the flywheel you get is an externally balanced flywheel.....

Another thing to know is that a 454 is an externally balanced engine as well but takes a different flywheel than a 400 small block. I'm just letting you know in case somebody says that they are the same, they are not.
