I'm in the process of collecting parts to finish my 74 K5 Blazer. I have a Suburban 3rd row seat to use for the rear seat. I like that it can fold and tilt for more rear cargo room.
I'd like to have a "modern" front seat combo to use with it but the passenger seat needs to tilt for rear access. What have you guys done? Can I mount a newer seat on the original passenger tilting base? Or? Thanks for any input.

Yes you can mount a newer seat pretty easily on to the stock base. I used a pair of 94 buckets that flip and slide from an extended cab truck.
