Need help with what to buy for a truck cover

I am talking about a all weather cloth cover to fit my 2006 2500 crew cab short box with a canopy ..

I was wondering if a Suburban car cover would be a fit for my truck with the canopy on it ..
My truck is 19 1/5 feet long

all I can find is covers for trucks that are fitted for a truck with out a canopy..

Any one have a suburban cover to give me a length to go by ..

Re: Truck weather cover for my truck with canopy

Sorry Larry, we just got rid of the suburban.

I think my extended cab short bed is as long or longer than the Suburban was, just from space it takes up in the garage, so I would guess the four door short bed is longer than a Suburban.

Look at one of the car cover sites.

Look at one of the car cover sites.
From what i have found ,,it looks like just like you said,, the suburban is about 8-10 inches shorter,, and the comments buyers mostly say is that they fit snug ,,so if they fit snug then they are not going to stretch out to fit my truck ,,

You have answered my question ,,so now to find a site that says they have one for sale to fit my truck with the canopy ..and not go along with the sites that say that the SUV covers are for trucks and canopys

Check with places that make boat covers. It may be spendy but then it would be a sure fit and last a long time

Re: Truck weather cover for my truck with canopy

I bought the one for my Silverado SS at California Car Covers. Most of my covers are CCCovers.

Ditto. California Car Cover Co. should have what you need.

+ California Car Covers....you should call to talk with them. Nice people. Specify exactly your vehicle and other things on it and the cover will fit like a glove. And Yes, it will cost, IMHO, it's worth it.

Shooot Larry, I betcha when that 39 arrives you'll be covering that truck with an old blue tarp ( Idaho state flag ).
That nice Silverado will be kicked to the curb and forgotten while your playing with that new toy.......
