Am I seeing things?

Like the title suggests, I was out looking things over on my '71 and noticed one of my front leaves has more sag than the other. This ever happen to anyone else?

It's not uncommon. The springs are 45 years old, and they've had millions of cycles of up-and down motion. The metal fatigues at different rates, so you get more sag on one side than the other.

You could have more wear in the bushings on one side as well.

I kinda figured the springs being 45 years old had something to do with the sag. I guess doing a lift makes more sense since the springs are saggy anyways

I've seen older women with the same problem.

Re: Am I seeing things?

Can you notice the sag when you stand back and just look at the truck? (Is it still level)

And, does it affect the way the truck drives? If this truck is your daily driver, it might not be anything to worry about.

Its a little noticeable, the pass. side sits maybe an inch higher than the driver side. the trucks for the most part my daily, haven't noticed anything odd with the way the truck handles since I've had it.
