Choke ??????

What or how---- holds the choke cable under the hood to keep it from moving ? Some type of bracket ? Whatever it is i need one . Please help.

there should be a bracket (usually attached to the carb) that holds the carb end of the outer choke cable. Universal ones are available at all parts houses.

the cable has a rubber grommet where it goes thru the firewall. tight fitting. the rubber grommet has metal prongs that hold it to the firewall

One of the board vendors like Wes at Classic Heartbeat might have one. Or check the aftermarket like LMC or Brother's Truck Parts.
