Random?
Hey guys, been reading lots of threads here on the site. Felt the need to share some progress on my truck. Been waiting for a gas tank from rock auto from spectra. Should be here on Thursday, installed a kenwood head unit in the 70. Yes I CUT the dash... Also installed a kicker amp and 4 kicker speakers. Not a bad sounding system for a daily. Ls swap is all done. Just welded up an exhaust with flow master 40's and turn down/outs. Installing the exhaust tomorrow and going to fire it up with a gas can to see how she sounds.

Re: Random?
Here's a picture of the kenwood.. today I bled the cooling system and put the exhaust in. Sounds great! Since I have no tank, I ran it off a gas can and it fired right up. My set up was gas can, filter, Carter p4600hp, filter, regulator, holley dp. My gauge on the regulator was reading 5 psi then went down to 3 psi. Truck was still idling fine though.. I took apart both the pump and regulator and cleaned them out. Still no pressure change. I put the gauge right after the pump to rule out the regulator and still no pressure change. Got frustrated and ordered a new pump, regulator, and gauge.

Re: Random?
Finally pretty much all done! Sound system is in, motor runs like a top, exhaust sounds great! Seat is in also, and don't mind all the dirt, she's all cleaned up now. I was working on it in a dirt/ grass field. Just gotta put the hood back on, and put hangers on the exhaust!
