Dome light dimmer/timer

I did the search for this in the search bar but couldn't really find anything useful.
Any of you guys ever done this to your truck? Anybody know how it's done or what parts to use. I guess I'm spoiled by this feature on my Silverado.Any help would be kool fellas. Thanks in advance.

Re: Dome light dimmer/timer

Dakota Digital makes a dome light dimmer.... It is also a automatic headlight module which uses a photo cel sensor, and had a retains accessorize feature
(radio) untill you open the door. Just like your new truck.

I'm glad I'm not spoiled. I enjoy the simplicity and it's easy enough to turn the light on if I need it. It's your truck, so go for it if that's what floats your boat

American Auto Wire also sells one, it has an adjustable delay knob and it theatre dims the light when it goes out.

Re: Dome light dimmer/timer

I must be behind the times also. My dome light doesn't even come on when I open the door. Must manually turn it on.

Oh Well, when I want the modern high tech stuff I drive my 15 Hemi Challenger.

in the spirit of being helpful, why not offer the guy advice on how to do it considering that's what he ask for, instead of offering opinions on why you don't agree.
