New guy from Southern Ca
Hi all,
I am new to this group. Recently I acquired a 1956 Chevy Cameo Big window from my wife's uncle. This was originally her grandfather's truck who purchased it new. The truck has not been on the road for over 20 years, and has been in a garage in the high desert for the last 16. I towed it down to my business in Norco, and just made it run again. new brakes, wheel cylinders, brake lines and master cylinder to make it stop. It is an automatic, so i need to drop the pan and replace the fluid and the filter. Overall it is in good shape. The truck shows 68k on the clock and we believe that to be true. I am having fun getting this thing going, but I need to have some other bugs worked out, like wiring. Looking forward to learning more about this truck and making it a nice driver. |
