just recently got a 57 4x4

i recently was given a 1957 3600 4x4 from my grandpa and it has a sbc 350. Everything else is factory both diffs leak and so does the transfer case. i am still learning about working on cars and such, and i will be posting pictures soon

Special k someone could have 4x4 swapped it or even put it on a later frame.With out pictures we won't have a idea whats its got.

i had my boss look at my front end and i just have to get a repack on my wheel bearings and i have alot of seals i need to replace

got new gauges, over flow tank and it is cleaning up really easy so far,

Something you might already know.... with the coolant recovery tank, be sure the radiator cap is for a sealed system.

today i got my wheel bearings repacked, my front end is all tight now. i repainted my gauge cluster chevy orange and got my headlight bezels back to white

I'm in! Mine was a mutt. Some napco stuff some later gm stuff. No napco stuff left on mine because it's hard to find. 57 is the best of the 55-59s in my biased opinion! Mine gets a hell of a lot of attention and I'm sure yours will too!
