Dog bone looking thing

I have turned up my torsen bar. If I put a 1" spacer between the cross member and lower control arm mount, I think that's what it's called, it looks like a dog bone. Would that help re-center, align the lower ball joint? Thus allowing me to take a lower a bit out of the torsen bars bolt.

I think we need clarification on what you mean by "Thus allowing me to take a lower a bit out of the torsion bars bolt". If you put a spacer in between the upper control arm mount and the frame that will help your alignment. I have never heard of anyone doing it on the lower control arm. It does not sound like a good idea. I would think that would raise truck a little and mess up the suspension geometry. It seams like it would also put your lower control arms to close to the ground.

Usually when you lower with torsion bars the bottom of the tires start to stick out further than the top. I think this is called camber. In order to correct this people usually put shims in between the upper control arm and the frame.

I've cranked my torsen bars up 3/4ish to max.
Being that they attach to the lower control arm. Cranking them up increases the height of the front suspension, but it also stiffens the ride.
My thinking is if I put a 1 " block spacer between the cross member and the control arm mount then I could crank the torsen bar down, thus softening the ride,and bring the lower ball joint a little closer to the middle of the ball joint.

Thanks for clarifying. I guess I was confused. I thought you were talking about lowering you truck.
