My spark plug wire separator melted to my ceramic coated Hooker comps, and it pulled a dime-sized chunk of the coating off.
Does anyone know of something to seal the spot so it won't rust?
The thought of taking them off and sending them to be recoated doesn't sound like much of an option.

Personally, I would call Hooker and tell them what happened. I wouldn't think the ceramic coating should come apart that easily. I know taking them off and sending them to be recoated sounds like a pain in the ass, but if they'll cover it, it's worth it. I know Hooker Comps aren't exactly cheap.

I bought Hooker Comps last August a year ago and they were rusting by Feb. of this year. I am not too happy with them, I think Hooker does a poor job on ceramic coating.
