WTB power steering assist parts

Hello From Pa. Just purchased an original power assist unit for my 65 truck. It's not complete, so I still need a few things. First, I need the fluid reservoir, with mounting bracket and fan belt pulley. Second, I also need the hoses that go from the reservoir to the ram cylinder. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Mike

Sounds like you need a pump and lines.

Re: WTB power steering assist parts

I'm slightly unfamiliar with this set up, but I believe your terminology is correct. I would like to add this original unit to my truck, perhaps this winter. I'm in the process of doing some research on it currently. But, I have found that most of knowledge has come from this website. The mounting bracket for the pump would also be a must. My 65 has a 283 with powerglide from the factory. Mike

Re: WTB power steering assist parts

I have a friend that has and old junk yard. Would a pump 0ff of like a 1965 car be the same? He has a lot of 283 cars with that same set up on them its nice to have and old junk yard around because there all about gone. Just trying to help you out.

If your going 100% stock , heres an original NOS unit ( NFS) that will help you with the correct parts and part numbers.
