Quick Question about Vintage Air

I plan to put Vintage Air on my 75 GMC Sierra Grande. It is originally a NON-AIR truck so it doesn't have vents in the dash, neither the drivers or passenger side. If I purchase the kit from vintage air that's made for trucks that originally had no air (they make them both ways) how will the air conditioning blow ?? on the floor???

Re: Quick Question about Vintage Air

It comes with the vents, as long as you buy the right kit. Check out page 16 of their (excellent) installation manual.

Re: Quick Question about Vintage Air

They have a kit for non AC trucks that comes with everything you need besides the bezel around the gauges. I does come with the passenger side.

I have not installed mine entirely but my dad and I have done some test fitting. They do not fit perfect, and there will be some slotting/adjusting of some holes but the kit is very high quality.

Re: Quick Question about Vintage Air

I installed the kit in my 91 v3500 this past summer and it is complete. Even had the spot to install the Silverado or Cheyenne badge, just had to drill a couple holes. I would assume the 73-80 kits are the same.
