Build thread take TWO!!!!!!!!! (gunna try to have more pics, since i have a NEW phone now ) And im only a 16 year old, so i am in school most of the day(there now acctually, in my study hall) and due to a knee injury (most likely torn meniscus) work will be slow BUT I WILL GET HER DONE!! This WILL be a Low buck build. And before i post anything about the truck, i gotta give my thanks to my best friend on the site, his names john, and he goes by FLASHED. lately hes been there to help me through alot, and talk about trucks, and helped me GREATLY to get where i am on my truck. STAY TUNED GUYS PICS COMING SOON!!!!!!!!

So didnt work on the mullet mobile tonoght but i figured out a new way to get pics. Send the pics to myself and upload wm to the gallery and post em. Should have more pics up soon as i get to school. Also got a drs appt today so will tell yall how that goes.

yes it was. It was a mud dragger/dd. Sadly the paint is not able to be saved. And if my emails would send id getcha more pics.

So as you see TMM needed new gauges (thanks to John AGAIN because he shipped me some the other day, should have em Saturday) so this is the last pic with the old mishmash cluster in it, yes the column was freely dangling. i have since made a bracket to hold it. More pics commin.

Well this is it without gauges, seats, or basically anything in the interior, basically rebuilt the wiring harness



With seats, but without gauges, made doin the gauge cluster wires 200000x easier.

Put the gauges john (flashed) sent me, into my pastic, and with a lil elbow greese and some pledge wipes, got em lookin like new.



The cluster in my truck, all hooked up, still needin the headlight switch though. but ALL IN DUE TIME RIGHT!!!

Thats all i could do this weekend, because its deer season. tomorrow i get out for thanksgiving break so the truck will hopefully get some misc work done, or maybe even STARTED UP!!!!!! So as Porky pig says THATS ALL FOLKS!!!!

TODAY IS FIRST START DAY WOHOOO. First put it all ready to start. Turn key. Nothing. No VROOMM or not even a click from the starter. Start hunting wiring. Alls good. We decide to check the battery. Shes flat. Now im waiting for it to charge so we can crank her over. Then i might get to drive her today! Wish me luck.

Keep at it! I once was in your position in high school, except your truck is a little further along from the beginning than mine was. It is all worth it when you get her finished! I'm also glad I have another step side friend out there! Let me know if you need any help with things! I gladly will help you out!

Keep at it! It takes as much time and patience as it does money. This is my high school project. I've had her for 12 years now and I wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world.

Still need to find a grill. And a fuel tank. But thatl happen in due time. My plan is to get her to drive everyday and slowly make her show truck quality. Paint color undecided. Kinda thinking about removing the lift. Waiting for the battery to charge as i post.

Looking back, I wish thats what I would have done. We bought ours with no drivetrain. We did a frame off and we had it 5 years before we ever drove it. You definitely are doing it the right way! I hope you get her running today! That is truly where the fun begins!

Truckman if i do imma try to get a video of her runnin. Had to change the flat 235 out for a 234 and it looks GOOFY with 3 tires and a lil one. I have built 90 percent of the stuff that ive used on this truck. Even half of the wiring harness. Only spent like 100 bucks so far.

350 v8 rv cam.eldebrock Tourqr intake. Long tubes. Eldebrock 750. Gunna go try her again now!

Nice. I used to have a 327 in mine, but this summer I converted to a 5.3L LS fuel injected engine. It's a glorious thing, it takes a lot of time but its totally worth it!

Tried it again. Battery still flat. Charging it now. Other charger went to crap. gunna try again tommorow.
