Hoping to get into paint this week.

Going to pull the bed and send it in first because they are low on room, then will bring it home and send the cab. Everything is blocked and wet sanded to 600 and appears pretty straight, time will tell but I can only blame myself.

Re: Hoping to get into paint this week.

Looks great Kelvin. You've done the most difficult part of painting already (bodywork & prep), why send it out for the rest? I bet you could squirt the paint as well as anybody. Besides, 1500 grit paper will make a pro out of anybody. Ok, not really, but I still think you could do it.

I would but now with the cold temps here and the fact that my garage is so filled with dust it makes it twice as hard. If I had a decent spray booth I would do it myself but a friend is going to do it at his company's booth , he has a new downdraft one.

Re: Hoping to get into paint this week.

Looks like I will be painting it afterall, my buddy doesn't like the fact that it is wet sanded to 600 so he is letting me use his booth and I will color it, he will clear it.
