Interior Screws
Anyone know what size & color the interior screws are supposed to be that hold up the interior moldings around the headliner and visors? I've seen some black, some chrome?
pictures if available would be a plus. Thanks. 1985 c10

Re: Interior Screws
According to page 16-108 of the illustrated parts manual it is:
SCREW, OVHD C/REC TAP (M4.2X1.41X25), P/N: 11501162 So, oval head cross-recess head tapping screw, metric sizing. I remember mine on my '86 being chrome. Perhaps someone else has pictures.

Re: Interior Screws
You can use black or chrome, but since your changing your interior to black, I would think black would be the choice. The screws, if I remember right, are the same as the bezel screws just shorter in length. Now in my case, some of the holes were oversized, because they are installed right into the sheet metal. So you might have to use a thicker diameter screw on the ones that are oversized. But hopefully you won't have any. Here are the ones I have left over
LMC has them http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cc/full.aspx?Page=98
