Oem mini starter swap
Has anyone gone from the old direct drive starter to the mini style? They list both as oem styles, so I got the mini this time. It installs so easy at half the the weight! Anyways, it runs great, just sounds so hi pitched like the teeth are too far apart. I've never had a mini style starter before so I'm assuming they are supposed to be this way [direct drive starters are supposed to make this sound when they are shimmed too far, I didn't use any shims on this mini] but I thought I'd ask.
