Question Back sliding window

My rear sliding window rattles when locked or open. What can be done to correct this if possible?

Re: Back sliding window

Replace the channel seal. I guess that's what it's called, or anti-rattle channel. Same type of thing as on your door window.

Re: Back sliding window

Shim it with a matchbook. That's what my Dad did with his vent window, and he managed to keep it like that for 30+ years!

Replacing the seal is a better idea if you can get ahold of one.

Re: Back sliding window

I've checked LMC and Dearborn and they don't show this seal. Any idea where I can order one.
