6000 dual fan kit!

I'm sending out (2) 6000 CFM dual 14" Motorcraft fans kits equipped with my exclusive 3-speed conversion harness! If anyone is in the market for arguably (IMO anyway!) the most powerful fan kit available anywhere, PM me with questions or post here. This thread is meant for information about the kit and how it can integrate with what you are running for a cooling system. Beware tho this kit is massive-requiring a radiator fin width of at least 32" so pretty much you'll need to run a BBC or 6.2 diesel spec radiator to fit this massive assembly.

With the ears trimmed off it measure 32 x 19 x 6.5 inches. As for mounting, that is up to you to fab some brackets.

There are 6 leads to run:

Battery (common 12V junction) power

Chassis ground

Switches IGN source

AC override (or manual switch)

Low speed switch sender wire

Medium speed switch sender wire


I use (2) GM style temp switches to trigger the low and medium speeds, and I also stock both t-stat spacers or new aluminum t-stat Housing's each with 2 threaded bungs for installing the temp switches. The whole oitbis designed to maintain a 185-190 degree engine temperature. It is strongly recommended to have at least a 140A alternator because this setup doesn't give you massive CFM capability for free-on high speed I've measure 36-38A continuous. The variable speed resistor circuit is incorporated into the shroud and is part of the harness install.

I've completed the LS swap and would like to rune the fans off the engine temp not the ecm so this should work. The questions I have are... Do the low speed fans come on with the ac switch and the go off when the temp is high enough to turn on the high speed? Also right now I'm running a VW dual speed dual fan set up. I have everything set up on a toggle switch would the harness work for these fans too?

If you want to run a stand alone 3-speed conversion harness I have those available too. I'd suggest running low temp off a low temp switch, medium speed off a slightly higher temp switch and the AC trinary/pressure switch and/or clutch cool lead can be used to trigger high speed. I have just the 3-speed fan conversion harness available for $179 plus shipping and that includes (2) temp switches and the resistor board-which need to be mounted on the shroud so that airflow can keep the resistor coils cool.

How do you get three speeds from the assembly? That is an F150 2 speed fan assy (series / parallel speed control) what is the 3rd speed?

Is that the std pwr AL34, or the high power BL34?

I build a specific harness which converts the fan leads to act as a 3-speed setup-it varies the resistance to achieve multiple speeds-I've been building/using these harnesses for about 8 years now....I have up on fancy PWM controllers a long time ago so I designed my own relay kit.
