Is this a GMC or 67 thing?
Looking at my truck today got me thinking that the side moldings that I have seen usually had a black stripe on them. Mine the stripe is white. Was this a 67 or GMC thing?

Believe it to be GMC. All the side trim I've seen for Chevrolet had black paint in the chrome. I could be wrong, but that's my guess...

There is a 68 gmc in the junkyard here with a red stripe. The truck is white with black interior.

I think its a GMC thing. Some of mine has a body color stripe on em. They also paint their gauges vs black

I've seen the alternate colors on GMC. I have some with red and it is certainly OEM.

Good info. What caught my eye is one piece has been replaced and you can see they painted over the black stripe with white.

It is a four eye thing , but mine has a red stripe and it is a 68. All of the 68 Chevy stuff is black
