Tach needle. Is it press on?
Does the needle and center cover just press on or is the a correct way to remove and install it? While trying to adjust my reading, I notice that mine appears to be bent under the center cover button.

Re: Tach needle. Is it press on?
From Jim in another thread (FirstOwner69) - not sure if it helps you but talks a bit about taking the center section apart:
"The needle itself was easy. I did a bit of disassembly allowing me to remove the center section. It's separate from the needle. I used the slit paper trick noted in a post above for the needle. Once I removed the center, I just masked off the black using many short pieces of painter's tape laid tangent to the raised orange curved portion. Probably 10-12 pieces of tape did it. Then I sprayed a couple light coats. It looks perfectly round (see pic in post above)."

Re: Tach needle. Is it press on?
Yep, it helps. So they are separate. Like I said before, I think I may have slightly bent the needle when I had it apart. Should be an easy fix.
